Real Life Vampires
Did you know that there is such a thing as a real vampire? It's true! The world is littered with thousands of of them, but they may not be exactly what you see in movies like "Twilight" or "Interview with the Vampire". In this site, you'll find all kinds of information and resources about them as well as how to become a real vampire. Okay! Well let's get started then, shall we? Great!When I refer to real life vampires I don't mean like Edward or Dracula. The vampires I'm talking about are people who choose to be night owls...or those who choose to drink blood. I know it sounds a little strange that someone would want this-but believe it or not, that's the modern day vampire. Some of them are also what one would consider "emotional" vampires, and I'll go more in depth with this idea under types of real vampires. So these real life vampires are generally into goth, and hang around the goth community. Some of them actually wear dark makeup and fangs to look like the romantic version that you see on televison. It's sort of a way to keep with the tradition that has been passed on through the centuries. I've seen them wear dark glasses and paint their nails black, in addition to dressing in vintage clothing with the ruffles and stuff.
You're probably wondering if they actually drink blood too...and the answer is yes. There are many that choose to go this route, but they do it safely. In the 21st century, blood can be contaminated with all kinds of diseases like hepititis or HIV, and that's why the vampire community closely monitors the people that they drink blood from. They use needles and razors, as well as gloves as a precaution so they don't get diseases. The people they take blood from are what they call "donors" who give permission for the vampire to take their blood. Because of the dangers with diseases, usually the real life vampires will NOT bite on the neck of the donor with their mouth, even though it seems incredibly romantic.
